Dr. Grammer is a native of Arkansas. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy for two years before he received his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He followed with M.S.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Grammer has taught at the State Universities of Minnesota, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
Having had the privilege of serving as an examiner for six years on the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Grammer has also been the Arkansas Delegate to the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons House of Delegates. He is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, International College of Dentists, and American College of Dentists. He has served as President of the Fayetteville Dental Society, Ozark Dental Study Club, Northwest District Dental Society, and Arkansas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Grammer has also served the Arkansas State Dental Association in many different capacities including president and editor. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Dental Association in 2000.
Dr. Grammer lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife Sandy. They have three grown children, as well as two grandchildren.
Procedures of special interest to Dr. Grammer include the removal of wisdom teeth and dentoalveolar procedures.
