Meet Dr. Burnett

Bradley R. Burnett, D.D.S.

A native of Kansas, Dr. Burnett received a Bachelor of General Studies in Biology from the University of Kansas, and graduated from the University of Missouri, School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993.


Dr. Burnett joins the Maxillofacial Surgery Center after spending nearly 12 years in the United States Navy. Commander Burnett began dental practice and his naval career at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA with a General Practice Residency and completed a tour of duty as a general dentist in Guam. After returning to Balboa Hospital, Dr. Burnett then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and selected as the oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the USS John C. Stennis battle group, called into action to support Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom after September 11, 2001. He served as staff Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, he was responsible for teaching residents and providing full scope oral & maxillofacial specialty care to include many Operation Iraqi Freedom 2 war casualties.

Dr. Burnett and his wife, Leisha, live in Joplin with their two children.

Procedures of special interest to Dr. Burnett are dentoalveolar, dental implants, bone grafting, maxillofacial pathology and orthognathic procedures.

Dr. Burnett is currently licensed to practice in the following states:
