He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, where he earned his DDS degree in 1989, his postdoctoral masters in craniofacial biology at Baylor University in Waco in 1992, and his Oral-Maxillofacial Certification in 1993. A diplomat of the Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Bolding, his wife, Dr. Taruna Bolding, and his four children currently live in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

With specialty training in advanced facial reconstruction, Dr. Bolding's special interests are in orthognathic surgery (jaw reconstruction), temporomandibular joint surgery (jaw joint surgery), and cosmetic facial surgery. He also has extensive training and experience in dental implant reconstruction, and has played a significant role in teaching other surgeons and general dentist the latest dental implant technologies. Having devoted a significant amount of his time to developing continuing education for doctors in craniofacial and dental implants, Dr. Bolding has been instrumental in culminating the establishment of the Mid-America Institute. He is also CEO of MaxSurg, a business development company for physicians and dentists.
