Last year, Oral & Facial Surgery Center participated as a Gold Sponsor with the NWA Food Bank who distributed over three millions pounds of food to Arkansas communities.

Kicking off our own “Bite Hunger” campaign, OFSC was pleased to contribute a portion from every wisdom tooth extracted in 2009 and gladly donated over $5,000 to helping feed the hungry in Arkansas.

OFSC has been consistent through the years in providing oral health education to the NWA community.

This year, Oral & Facial Surgery Center offered thousands of full color educational pieces  to the health and science departments of every local junior and senior high school in NWA. The four page, newspaper-like publication was written by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and inserted as a supplement in USA Today.  The paper includes excellent articles such as What are Impacted Wisdom Teeth and Why are They a Problem, Top Ten Health Reasons to Remove Your Wisdom Teeth, What to Expect During Surgery to Remove Your Wisdom Teeth and others.
